What is PrayTogether?

PrayTogether is a free, live prayer community where you can share what's on your heart and have real people pray for you in real time, in Jesus' name. You can see exactly who's praying for you right now, and how many people have prayed for a request over time.

Is it free to pray with someone online here?

Yes. PrayTogether is completely free to use, with no subscription or paywall. The site is supported by voluntary donations.

Do I need an account to request prayer?

No. You can post a prayer request and pray for others as a guest, with just a first name (or no name at all). Creating a free account is optional, and simply lets you keep the same name and identity across visits.

Can I request prayer anonymously?

Yes. Whether you're signed into an account or browsing as a guest, you can check "Post this request anonymously" on any individual request, and it will show as "Anonymous" to everyone else.

What is the live map?

It shows glowing dots for people who are on the site right now. Everyone appears as a dot near the middle of their country. If you choose to share your approximate city, your dot moves to that city. We never save your IP address, and we never show your exact location.

Is this a Christian prayer site?

Yes. PrayTogether is rooted in Christian faith, and every prayer here is offered in Jesus' name. The site also includes a page on how to get saved, for anyone exploring what it means to follow Jesus.
